The Adventures of PCOS Girl
The Adventures of PCOS Girl showcases a light and fun design with intuitive usability to market a unique program for women suffering from PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). This site was a custom Wordpress theme that included integration of newsletter/mailing list capabilities, which I also set up and designed. A sales page was also built to seamlessly market an e-book sold directly to users. Some of the Worpress features included are: Custom thumbnail generation, custom plugins, mailing list and social integration. This site was built with expansion in mind and is sure to easily grow with the user base.

Ponies and unicorns is my newly re-designed blog that went from a busy, altered Wordpress theme to a minimalistic, custom Wordpress theme. I wanted to focus to be on content and for the site to have minimal features. I concentrated on using bursts of bright color contrasted with the minimal layout.

Quench Restaurant
Quench is a hip new restaraunt opening in the DC area. I altered a wordpress theme to match their brand in a classic and usable way. This site features integration with Google maps, Constant Contact, Twitter, and Facebook. Custom thumbnails were created, as well as a blog section and password protected content.

Chic Vegan is a blog highlighting fashion, food, and lifestyle. I created a highly interactive and fun site to showcase their 5 years of blogging history! This Wordpress theme features tons of social integration, thumbnail generation, and other custom features. Chic Vegan uses a gorgeous "magazine" layout to display it's abundance of content.

I am a web designer and front end developer with 7 years of professional experience, although I have been writing code for over 14 years! My true love is Wordpress development, but I still thrive while working with Joomla, Drupal, and bare bones HTML/CSS. I enjoy making simple, functional websites that are beautiful inside and out. I am constantly learning, creating, and expanding my horizons while enjoying the sunshine at my home base in Portland, Oregon.
When not basking in the glow of my monitor you will find me in the kitchen making delicious, healthy treats or hanging from the ceiling doing circus tricks.
